
On July 3, 2023, a mass shooting took place in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Southwest Philadelphia. If you or anyone you know were a victim (either direct or indirect), witnessed, or heard the gun shots of the shootings that occurred in the Kingsessing neighborhood at the 1600 block of S. 56th Street, Kingsessing Avenue, Frazier Street, or Springfield Avenue, you have rights and may eligible to certain benefits. We can assist and support you during this difficult time.
From court advocacy to counseling and therapy, our team of professional victim advocates, counselors, and therapists -many of whom know the pain and grief caused by violence and victimization- are here to support you in your healing journeys. We understand healing is not linear — let us accompany you on your healing journey. Together, we are stronger; together, we can break the cycle of violence.

Victims Compensation
You may be eligible for reimbursement on certain costs associated with the incident, such as funeral and burial expenses, loss of support, loss of earnings, counseling, and more.
Court Accompaniment
Our Victim Advocates provide court accompaniment, emotional support, legal information, and advocacy.
Case Status Update
Our Victim Advocates can provide you with updates as your case moves forward in the criminal justice system.
Counseling & Therapy
If you are experiencing sadness, grief, anger, and depression, our trauma-informed counselors and therapists can support you. We provide individual, family, and group counseling.
